The Mosaic Academy Story
The foundation of our online international high school was established by Christian Bayly, in 2016. The institution began with only five members of staff and ten students. Mosaic Academy has since grown both its staff and its student base over the last 4 years and in doing so, has established a reputation for student success.”
Initially, Mosaic Academy was mainly dedicated to making its courses and programs available to international students. While this had been the focus over the first couple of years, the institution had recognized the demand generated by the local Canadian student community. As such, we have responded accordingly and are now equally focused on providing online schooling to both international and local students, as we truly believe education should be accessible by all who are eager to learn. We are proud of our journey to date and are continuously working to offer the best Canadian education to our current and new students.
A Message from the Principal:
Welcome to Mosaic International Academy. My name is Christian Bayly and I am the principal at Mosaic Academy. I graduated with a teaching degree in 2003, and have completed my master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. My qualifications are in Special Education and ESL teaching. I have more than 18 years of experience in educational leadership and program development, with an in-depth knowledge of primary/secondary education theory and practice.
Additionally, I hold an additional 18 years of experience as an e-Learning Administrator, with a particular focus on program delivery and Moodle training. I am highly experienced in the development of extensive online teaching programs at the secondary level. Over the years, I have become very passionate about teaching children as it has become a specialty of mine.
At Mosaic Academy, we give each student the opportunity to embark on an outstanding educational experience. We build bridges between students and teachers, giving them the opportunity to excel and recognize their full potential. We believe in fostering a positive environment where each student feels valued and heard. We have an excellent staff that operates a variety of services allowing students to rely on us for direction. Mosaic Academy allows for maximum flexibility, convenience, and accessibility for all students around the world.
Mosaic Academy was ultimately created with a vision of keeping up with the learning and technological needs of the future generation of leaders; with that aim in mind, we have focused on making a shift from traditional schooling to virtual learning. Further, as a school and a community, we encourage parents to get involved in their child’s academics through our virtual learning system. This system is created not only for the student to keep track of their progress, but for their guardians/parents as well. We want parents to feel and know that their children are in a safe learning environment through online education.
